Downhole Equipment

PDC Bits

A range of drill bits, either steel- or matrix-bodied, featuring fixed PDC cutters that minimize wear on cutting structures for higher ROP. Designed in our advanced drill-bit design platform, EXXON PDC bits are optimized for dynamic stability across a wide range of demanding vertical and directional drilling applications. Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill bits deliver premium performance and durability for a wide range of standard drilling applications. These matrix- and steel-bodied bits incorporate the latest cutter technology, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), enhanced hydraulics, and various structure geometries to maximize Rep. Our team at N.P. Logs has been committed to providing the best products at affordable prices. We have extensive experience working in the energy industry and understand that the job often calls for advanced, reliable equipment along with experienced technical field service. We offer a full line of PDC bits that work well with traditional and unconventional drilling methods

Whipstock

The Hydraulic Set Whipstock System is a hydraulically set whipstock that requires a hydraulic force to activate the packer assembly, setting itself in the casing. Milling a window in casing using a whipstock usually consists of one run for setting the Whipstock in place and milling and completing the window through the casing wall and into the formation, while dressing the window to eliminate drag. The EX-Master Plus Hydraulic Anchor locks the whipstock assembly to the casing. It is hydraulically set with 2,000 to 2,500 psi pressure permanently. The function of the anchor is to absorb axial and torsional loads during milling.

The EX-Master plus Hydraulic Retrievable Anchor with Pack-off Element is run and set in a single trip. This system provides isolation from the lower wellbore using an integral packer. It can hold 5,000 psi in both directions.

The Mechanical Set Whipstock System is a mechanically setting whipstock that requires a footing in the wellbore to “trip” from, therefore setting itself in the casing. The wellbore anchor can be anything that will support 15,000 lb for 5”, 20,000 lb for 7” & 30,000 for 9⅝” weight, such as a cement plug, Bridge plug, fish, or liner. Milling a window in casing using a whipstock usually consists of one run for setting the Whipstock in place and milling and completing the window through the casing wall and into the formation, while dressing the window to eliminate drag. The EX-Master Plus Mechanical Anchor requires a plug in the wellbore to initiate setting. Patented tongue-and-pocket slip design ensures full centralized slip contact, which provides superior anti-rotation and Single-direction loading capabilities

Well Abandonment Services

Hydro Mechanical Bridge Plug is designed to set with a combination of hydraulic pressure and Mechanical pull for greater efficiency in high pressure situations.

N.P. Logs inflatable Cement Retainers and permanent/Retrievable inflatable bridge plugs can be set in either open hole or casing and can expand up to 2 times their run-in diameter. Both can be run in on drill pipe or tubing and are inflated with fluid or gas by applying surface pressure. Both tools feature a 100% reinforced exposed steel slat inflatable element for optimum anchoring ability in casing or open hole.

The N.p. Logs Model EXW Top-Set Wireline Bridge Plug is a compact and economical unit engineered for fast running downhole on electric wireline. The N.P. Logs EXW Top-Set Bridge Plug can be set using a Baker style Pressure Setting Assembly (Wireline Setting Tool or Hydraulic Setting Tool). A Wireline Adapter Kit is required to adapt the appropriate Pressure Setting Assembly to the Bridge Plug.
